Wednesday is literally the only day worth going to.

Upscale but affordable, great cocktails and tapas. Bartender knew his craft well and everyone was very pleasant.

Great menu. So much diversity. Loved the Martinis.

Still here. This place is great. Half price on most tapas dishes 4:30-6, and they ate good. The baby back ribs are barely clinging to the bone, and the mango bbq sauce is delicious. The hummus and beef carpacio are everything you could wish for too. Creative cocktails and delicious sangria. Our first time on the cape in maybe 15 years, and this was a great find.

Delicious tapas and excellent drink selection. The food not only tasted great but looked beautiful as well. Very good live jazz played during dinner as well. Very nice atmosphere and ambiance.

Excellent service. Food was wonderful. The sangria pitcher was 30 dollars and we ( 2 people) had about 4 glasses each! Well worth the money!! After 10 there was a dj and dancing. It was a very fun spot. I loved the Cajun shrimp tapas and we shared a pizza also that was very tasty. The waitress poured our sangria every time our drinks were getting low. Very attentive and pleasant. The ambiance was very nice with low lighting and candle lit tables. We sat in a semi circle shaped booth. We enjoyed!

Fun atmosphere, delicious “small plates” food with diverse menu offerings. Inconsistent cocktails (all were good, they were just mixed very differently from one drink to the next). We enjoyed “Drag Karaoke” with our host, Sandy Dunes. Highly recommend emBargo for a night out in Hyannis!

Sit at a high top at the bar for a great time/service. The bartender Lou exceeded expectations and all the food was spectacular! We are not from around here and Lou took the time to write down recommendations around the area in detail! The servers were very attentive.

Nice menu with tapas and excellent cocktails. This visit featured a nice jazz band. We ate at the bar - the bartenders are terrific. They were both very attentive and friendly, making for a great experience overall. Highly recommend for a nice date night or a relaxing night out.

The Atmosphere, Food and Libations are on a whole other level. Highly recommend this place and get the Scallops with Duck Bacon, you will thank me!!

Drawn in for the "half-price" tapas on Tuesday evening only to discover that many items are restricted from the offer. Fair that they tell you almost immediately but now you're already seated and ready to go. We ordered 7or 8 tapas, both full price and discounted. Of note were the delicious seared scallops with truffle parmesan basmati, and the perfectly seasoned and tender lamb lollipops. Everything else was pretty average except for the curried chicken salad which was let down by several chunks of bone buried in the mix.

The service and selection are unparalleled. Come hungry because you will want to try everything. We went twice in one evening and loved every bite.

What a great find! I ended here on a Tuesday and tapas is 1/2, for ones without the astrek. Soo, I started with cod with coconut rice, and thinly sliced tomatoe on top hot tapas, flavorful and no fishy taste so you know it is fresh. Next, I went for lamb lollipops with tomato compote. Not gamey moist and so good! I then decided to order the mussels with garlic, butter, white wine and thyme. Fresh and did not find one that was sandy. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. The bartenders are attentive and recomend a good drink selection. I would definitely go back here again!

My husband and I went out to eat here during our stay in Hyannis. This restaurant is right on Main Street surrounded by many other cute shops. This place was the BEST dinner we had with great service! The tapas were amazing (definitely try to come on 1/2 price tapa night though). The cocktails were also very tasty. Will be visiting again!

Good food live music and dancing

Their tagline is elegantly comfortable. Couldn't be a better description. Super friendly service and great food. We usually order off the extensive tapas menu. Waygu sliders, stuffed mushrooms, lamb lollipops and so much more all so good. Very excited to try to try the whole pig family style with a group. Great cocktails made by knowledgeable, professional and personalble bartenders. You will never be treated like a stranger at emBargo.

I can't say enough about this place. It was so amazing we came here 2 nights in a row. Found it because the place across the street - Fresh Ketch didn't want to "deal with a large table". there were 11 of us we heard a waitress say, so we went across the street. So glad.... - embargo had such nice people and the food is amazing!!! Everything in the menu is wonderful - not a bad thing and we tried almost everything!! This is now our favorite!! Thank you!!

Hands down the worst service i have ever recieved from a bartender. I ordered the same drink twice, first she said 8 dollars, and the next one she charged me 10 dollars. I was also accompanied by a friend who does not drink alcohol, and she rudely said, “ Can i get you anything or are you just going to stand there”.. we left after the two drinks and did not stay long enough to try out the food or anything. I definitely will not be going back to this restaurant

It was a horrible experience last night.( Monday night) Male batrender was extremely rude and had a poor knowledge of mixing drinks . I saw a few drinks were returned despite it was a really slow night. I think he definitely needs more training and work on his attitude. The place looks clean and stylish

I loved every item we ordered...the roasted brussell sprouts were the best I've ever had, the steak tips were amazing, the lettuce wraps and the creme brule...all worth every cent. The vibe is cool and the service was outstanding.

This spot is great! Good prices, large portions and the staff members are consistently welcoming.

Atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The live jazz music was wonderful! When we received my dinner, it was VERY COOOOOLD! :-( Apart from that, it was a good experience.

Great selection of small plates. Food was fantastic and the service was great. Highly recommend the tuna dishes!

They're the only place around to dance and they know they've got no competition. The A.C. is severely lacking so be prepared to have stranger's sweat whipped onto you while dancing. The lady's bathroom was actively terrible. There are two stalls, one had no toilet paper and the other does not properly latch. Our waitress, Jill, was fantastic but everything else was super underwhelming.

Very beautiful place it’s right in the downtown of Hyannis has a very good foods grilled meats grilled seafood. They also have good jazz music till 10 PM they have great cocktails and they have good club music after 11 PM till the morning.

If you want to experience the customer service of a $700 meal, for a 1/5 of the price...you should enjoy your visit to embargo. Staff is fantastic, overly accommodating, can't explain how happy they made us on the off season, on a weekday evening. Tapas 1/2 price during early dinner, I honestly had to make sure I didn't scroll past tapas menu, it is really extensive. Please go, enjoy the fantastic food, it was so under priced, appetiser picked and approved.
